Funeral services were Saturday, March 14, at United Methodist Church in Colesburg, conducted by Pastor Roger White. Visitation was before services at the church.

Interment was at Zion Cemetery, rural Colesburg.

Wilma was born on Sept. 13, 1925, on the Schenke Farm, rural Colesburg, the daughter of Benjamin and Florence (Kurrelmeyer) Schenke. Wilma was raised near Colesburg and graduated from Colesburg High School in 1943. She then attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, graduating with her teaching certificate.

Wilma taught at rural schools in Colesburg and Strawberry Point. While working in Strawberry Point, she went on a blind date and met the love of her life. On Feb. 14, 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert H. “Tunney” Lincoln. Five children were born to this union. In addition to raising her family, Wilma also worked for 23 years at Ertls in Dyersville.

Wilma enjoyed cross-stitching, doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches, and shopping, especially at Walmart. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.

Wilma is survived by her children, Steven (Susie) Lincoln of Anamosa, Kathy (Marshall) Wilson of Lakeville, Minn., Jill Sanders of Bondurant, Jeffrey (Coleen) Lincoln of Greeley, and Jody (Jeff) Keleher of Marion; twelve grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, LaVera Schenke of Edgewood and Hope Schenke of California; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
