Marilyn J. Rybarczyk, 95, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at Prairie Mason Care Center. 

She was born Sept. 19, 1924, the daughter of William and Esther (Molzhan) Obmascher. 

She married Earl Rybarczyk on Nov. 8, 1943, in West Salem. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2008. 

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (John) Kramer; her sons, Douglas and Terrance (Margo) Rybarczyk; her brother, Robert Obmascher; her sister, Janet (Tom) Kozelka; her grandchildren, Curt (Angie) Kramer, Heidi Rybarczyk, Angie (Craig) Gasior, Gretchen (Jonathan) Wendt, Melissa (Terry) Slaght, and John (Shipra) Rybarczyk; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard “Obie” Obmascher; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou and Dorothy Obmascher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Msgr. Stoetzel officiating, with interment in the Calvary Cemetery, in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Prairie Maison Foundation, Growing Connections Foundation Campaign or Prairie Catholic Schools. 

The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
