On Saturday, Jan. 25, Prairie du Chien 132-pound wrestler Matt Rogge won his 100th career match at the TKO in Fort Atkinson. Rogge, a junior, becomes just the 15th wrestler in the history of PDC wrestling to have 100 wins. The other PDC wrestlers with at least 100 wins are Traeton Saint 169, Taylor Elliott 150, Nick Rogge 142, Stephen Ronnfeldt 137, Mike Lenzendorf 134, Zach Elliott 132, Reid Koenig 124, Alex Stormoen 123, Clayton Beers 122, Blake Garcia 114, Bradyn Saint 112, Evan Sinram 109, Tyler Smock 102, Colten Wall 100. Congratulations Matt!

On Saturday, the Blackhawk grapplers traveled to Fort Atkinson for the 10th annual TKO (Terry Kramer Open). Seventeen teams were in attendance, comprised of nine D1 teams and eight D2 teams.

PDC would finish second with 369.5 points, just 14 points behind D1 rated Slinger with 383.5.

It was a team effort. Aside from the #1 seeds, every wrestler on the team finished higher than their seed. In addition, this was all done without PDC having a 220# wrestler available to score points.

PDC crowned four champions, which was the most by any team at the tournament. Leading the way with championships for the Hawks were Matt Rogge, Traeton Saint, Bradyn Saint and Tyler Hannah.

One of the many highlights for the day was Matt Rogge earning his 100th career win, joining just 14 others who have done this in PDC wrestling history.

Place finishes:

106# Rhett Koenig: 2nd

113# Ryder Koenig: 4th

120# Maddox Cejka: 5th

126# Luke Kramer: 3rd

132# Matt Rogge: 1st

138# Kurt Wall: 9th

145# Chase Fisher: 11th

152# Brogan Brewer: 9th

160# Traeton Saint: 1st

170# Bradyn Saint: 1st

182# Jaret Semanko: 13th

195# Tyler Hannah: 1st

285# Jerrod Osterkamp: 6th

Also placing for the Hawks were the following non-scoring team members:

106# Mason Ihde: 13th

126# Bryce Priebe: 10th

160# Christian Black: 14th

195# Ben Riter: 11th

285# Brice Martin: 15th

Next up for the Blackhawks will be Thursday’s final home dual of the year versus River Valley.

It will be Senior Night. The Hawks will also be looking to win the SWC Championship outright. Start time is 7 p.m. Let’s fill the Fieldhouse!
