PdC-F gymnasts host two meets
The Prairie du Chien-Fennimore gymnastics team hosted Viroqua on Friday night, Jan. 10 in PdC-F’s first dual of the season.
The girls pieced together an impressive performance, surpassing their Mt. Horeb Invitational score with a 106.900 for the night.
Kylee O’Kane and Alyssa Schoepp placed third and fourth on vault, scoring 7.8 and 7.6. O’Kane set a season high in her first-place performance on bars, scoring a 7.65. Schoepp was once again impressive on beam, taking first place with a 7.85. O’Kane finished her night in second place in all-around scoring, while Schoepp took third, and Hailey Ohlert placed sixth.
The PdC-Fennimore gymnastics team continued their season on Monday night with another home dual against the Dodgeville-Mineral Point Dodgers.
Kylee O’Kane set her season high while leading the team on vault with an 8.1, good for second place in the dual. Alyssa Schoepp pieced together another good meet, finishing fourth in the all-around scoring with a 30.100. Sophomore Madison Puckett set new season-highs on vault and floor, with a 7.1 and a 6.9, respectively.
PdC-F is back in action on Monday, Jan. 20, as they will host Southwestern-Cuba City-Benton at 6 p.m. in the Prairie du Chien High School competition gym.
