Town of Freeman man arrested in drug bust
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department has been conducting an extensive investigation into the distribution and sale of illegal narcotics from the Kenneth Sandvick residence located in the township of Freeman. As a result of this investigation, the sheriff’s department applied for and was granted a search warrant.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department utilized the Tri-River Area Special Operations Team to execute a search of Sandvick’s residence on Sept. 25. The special operations team is constructed of Crawford County Sheriff’s Department and Prairie du Chien Police Department law enforcement staff.
Items seized included methamphetamine, ecstasy, methamphetamine paraphernalia, a weighing device, packaging supplies, counterfeit currency, and firearms.
Kenneth Sandvick, 57, was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of certain hallucinogenic/stimulant drugs, and operating a motor-vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance.
This case remains under investigation.
