She graduated from Seneca High School. Donna attended Blackhawk Technical College where she earned her Nursing Aid certification. Donna operated her own restaurant in Tomahawk for a time before going to work at General Motors in Janesville as a painter. She retired from General Motors to spend more time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ella; sister, Judy David; and brothers, Allen “Al” Benoy and Johnny Benoy.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
