Helen C. White, 92, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Great River Care Center in McGregor, Iowa. 

She was born March 5, 1927 in Winchester, KY the daughter of Clay and Nancy (Parks ) Ingram. 

She married Paul White on April 12, 1958 in Chicago, IL. Helen worked as an inspector for Motorola in Chicago. She was a talented baker and was renowned for her wedding cakes in the Prairie du Chien area. Helen loved her home State of Kentucky, playing bingo and the Cubs. She was an active member of the Eagles Club Aerie 1502 in Prairie du Chien. 

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul of Prairie du Chien, her son David (Heather) of Prairie du Chien, her daughter Deborah White of Austin, TX, her brother Roy Ingram of Pompano Beach, FL, Her sister Marcella Pappen of Heber Springs, AR, her grandchildren, Kylie, Breanna, Caitlyn, Madison, Chris and Jon along with her great grandchildren, Briar and Dixon.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael, her brothers, Paul, Russ and Earl along with her sister Nell.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday June 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien with an Eagles Club Auxiliary tribute at 3 p.m. Interment will be later in the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien.
