Sandra Jean Ryan, long-time resident of the Guttenberg area, died Easter Sunday, the 21st of April, at home with family by her side.

Born in 1936 in Strawberry Point, Sandi received a degree in medical technology. She dedicated her life to the medical profession, working as a lab technician in several hospitals. The majority of her career was spent in Guttenberg.

She was the third of four children of Cecil J. Ryan and Linnie Mae (Culbertson) Ryan of Strawberry Point. Her siblings are Gordon Ryan, Gary Ryan and Carol Mae Ryan.

Sandi was a dedicated and loving aunt and friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her brother, Gary Ryan of Tiffen, and many nieces and nephews across Iowa and the U.S.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Hospice of Dubuque.
