Leonard M. Ohlhauser, 64, of Bagley, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at home with his wife by his side. 

He was born Sept. 28, 1954, to Calvin and Marion (Pauley)Ohlhauser in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 

Leonard graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. He was united in marriage with Denise Holmes on Feb. 18, 1979, in Washington, Iowa. Twelve children were born to this union. Leonard worked for Harmen Webb and Ace Construction in and around the Cedar Rapids area for years. He enjoyed fishing with his best friend, Paul Morarie, along with his kids and grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards. He loved riding his motorcycle and playing with his family. He was a member of the Society Sons Motorcycle Club, in Gays Mills. Leonard loved his wife so much. She was his soul-mate and best friend. He would give anyone the shirt off his back; that’s the kind of man he was. 

Leonard is survived by his wife, Denise of Bagley; 12 children, Jennifer Ohlhauser, Brenda Ohlhauser, Leonard Ohlhauser Jr. all of Bloomington, Timothy Moore of Fennimore, Melanie Anderson (Johnny) and Joseph Ohlhauser both of Cedar Rapids, Brooklyn Ohlhauser, Sean Ohlhauser and Quentin Ohlhauser all of Bagley, Marty Ohlauser of Prairie du Chien, Michael Holmes (Kelli) of Cedar Rapids, and Heather Steichen (Jared) of Marion, Iowa; 24 grandchildren; brothers, Kenny Ohlhauser, Robert Ohlhauser; sisters, Kelly Kleinman and Vicki Bean both of Cedar Rapids and Sandra St. John of Oelwein. 

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Angelique; and two best-friends, Paul Morarie and Calvin Combs. There are no services planned at this time.
