Seneca’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Seneca defeated visiting La Farge 10-0 on Thursday in five innings. Kadin Wallin induced a fly out to get the last out of the game.
Seneca got on the board in the first inning when Matt Hall doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Seneca scored four runs in the fourth inning. Wallin, Jared Payne, and Hall all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Payne was credited with the victory for Seneca. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven. Wallin threw one inning in relief.
Seneca saw the ball well, racking up nine hits in the game. Tyler Heinz and Hall each collected two hits to lead Seneca.
