Prairie boys overcome Lodi
Prairie du Chien came from behind to defeat visiting Lodi 53-43 in a WIAA Division 3 Regional semifinal boys basketball game Friday night.
A big and physical Lodi team limited Prairie to just one shot on most trips down the floor in the first half to take a 22-15 halftime lead.
The top seeded Blackhawks took the lead with 7 minutes and 30 seconds remaining in the game and finished with a 20-9 run to overcome the eighth-seeded Blue Devils. Prairie du Chien outscored Lodi 38-21 in the second half.
Mason Kramer scored a game-high 21 points for the Blackhawks who improved to 20-3 on the season. Gavin Gillitzer added 13 and Hunter Davis had 10.
Lodi ended its season with an 11-13 record.
