It was a scrappy game between host River Ridge and Prairie du Chien Tuesday night.

 

Prairie du Chien defeated host River Ridge 55-41 in nonconference girls basketball action Tuesday night. 

The Lady Blackhawks built a 24-18 halftime lead over the Lady Timberwolves.

Macey Banasik netted 11 points to pace Prairie du Chien. Lily Krahn pumped in 10. Ella Hager scored 9. Gabby Ritchie and Makenzie Knapp each had 7. Abby Feye scored 5 and Allison Allbee had 4.

Taylor Langmeier scored a game-high 19 points for River Ridge. Skylar White netted 15. McKenzie Graf scored 5 and Glenna Marshall had 2.

Prairie improved to 2-0 on the season. River Ridge fell to 1-1.

Prairie du Chien will next travel to River Valley on Nov. 30.

River Ridge will next host Belmont on Nov. 30.
