Prairie du Chien man charged for possession of multiple illegal substances
On Saturday, Nov. 24, at around 9:20 p.m., the Prairie du Chien Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the 100 block of North Michigan Street for a traffic violation. The Prairie du Chien K-9 Unit assisted with the traffic stop and K-9 Rico was utilized.
A subsequent search of the vehicle found raw marijuana, THC oil and wax, numerous drug containers used to transport and ingest drugs, along with a schedule II controlled substance, according to the police department.
The driver, Aaron Hartley, 31, of Prairie du Chien, was arrested and charged for possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance (first offense).
