The Mingle and Jingle downtown shopping promotion in 2017 was such a huge success for Prairie du Chien that organizers have decided to do it again a second year. Join in the fun-filled weekend with lots of great specials and door prizes. Two lucky winners, who visit all participating businesses, will win $150 in gift cards.

Organizers are happy to announce that McGregor and Marquette area businesses will also be participating this year and, because there are so many businesses on board, Mingle and Jingle will be a two-day event on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17.

This is how the promotion works:

1) Look for the Red Santa in the window.

2) Pick up your sheet at the first business you stop at starting Friday, Nov. 16.

3) Have each business sign your sheet by their business name.

4) Hand your completed sheet in at Jim’s Bar by 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17.

Each business listed has donated a $10 gift certificate. No purchase is necessary but you must get a signature from all of the businesses to qualify for the grand prize. The winner will be drawn at 5:15 p.m. at Jim’s Bar.

Participating businesses include:

Prairie du Chien—The Broken Ladder, The Planted Tree, The Pickett Fence, The Local Oven, Mississippi Meats, Jim’s Bar, Radio Shack, Front Porch Quilts, Nelson True Value, Sports World, Ft. Crawford Museum, Something for Everyone, Valley Fish & Cheese, Wall Street, Panka Shoe Store, Kemble’s Greenhouse, Stark’s Sport Shop, Café Hope, Sawmill Saloon, Althof’s Television Center, J.C. Party Store, Muddy Waters Pizza and Rockweilers.

Marquette/McGregor—By the Spoonful, Eagles Landing, The Left Bank Shop and Gallery, Paper Moon, McGregor Mercantile and Interstate Federal Savings and Loan.

Make sure to also stop at Hoffman Hall in Prairie du Chien for the craft fair going on from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
