McKenzie Graf (1) of the Lady Timberwolves tips the ball over Kylie Ubersox Tuesday night.

The River Ridge volleyball team defeated visiting Shullsburg in three sets with scores of 25-10, 25-15 and 25-14 Tuesday night in Six Rivers West action.

This allowed River Ridge to at least have a share of the title for the Six Rivers West Conference because they only have one more match with Benton on Oct. 11 and River Ridge defeated Benton earlier in the season.

River Ridge remained undefeated with an 18-0 record. They are ranked third in the state in Division 4.

Skylar White had 17 kills and Taylor Langmeier notched 16 to help lead the Lady Timberwolves.

Jordyn Vogt had 5 ace serves and White recorded 3. Faith Schier had 20 digs and White had 11.

Jaci Williams had another nice game setting the ball up, hitting it down, and digging it up. McKenzie Graf and Chloe Stagman had great consistent play as well for the team. It was a great team effort by all.

Before the match, it was announced that Taylor Langmeier had reached 1,000 kills in her career. She has been a four-year starter for the Wolves.

River Ridge also had its Pink Night that was completely organized by its captains, Langmeier, Jordyn Vogt and Verity Johnson.

They were able to generate more than $300 for the Grant County Cancer Coalition. The Athletic Boosters donated their half of the winnings and the fan who won also donated their share. Thanks to all who supported this great cause.
