Eastman man charged in a marijuana bust

A 54-year-old Eastman man has been charged in Crawford County Circuit Court with one count of the manufacture of marijuana. 

Robert Hodges faces up to a $10,000 fine and 3.5 years in prison if convicted. 

According to the criminal complaint, Hodges admitted to investigators that he had recently returned from California with processed marijuana after investigators had searched is residence. Found in the search were numerous items of contraband, including three live and growing marijuana plants, several containers of harvested and processed marijuana, a number of smoking devices, marijuana seeds and suspected THC wax, the complaint said.
