Boscobel man faces meth charge

A 32-year-old Boscobel man has been charged in Crawford County Circuit Court with one count of possession of meth.
Jacob Larocque faces up to a $10,000 fine and 3.5 years in prison if convicted.
According to the criminal complaint, a Prairie du Chien police officer stopped a vehicle in Prairie du Chien near the intersection of Blackhawk Avenue and Wacouta Road. The officer searched the vehicle and discovered a black metal container which contained a quantity of a white powdery residue, which tested positive to the presence of meth.
