Robyn Joy (Weger) Andras, 56, of Brooksville, Fla. passed away July 25 at home, from cancer.

Services were held Saturday, Aug. 4, at Grace World Outreach Church.

Burial was in the Spring Lake Cemetery, Brooksville, Fla.

Robyn was born Dec. 14, 1961, the daughter of Richard and Jo Ann (Clute) Weger of Strawberry Point. She attended Starmont and West Delaware Schools, graduating from West Delaware in 1980. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly; Brevard Community College, Cocoa, Fla., where she received her AA degree; and was ordained as a minister at Life Christian University.

Robyn moved to Florida in 1982.

She married Mike Potter in 1983. To this marriage two daughters, Tessa and Mindy, were born. Robyn was married to Jeff Andras May 8, 1999. They lived with their four children at rural Dade City and Brooksville. She worked for Big Brothers and Sisters as chief financial officer for 16 years.

She was involved with Emmaus, where she was music leader, board member and team member. She was a team member of Residents Encounter Christ and clergy and team member of Kairos; both activities were in jails and prisons. Robyn was chaplain and volunteer at Tangerine Cove Assisted Living. At Spring Lake Methodist church she was a women’s ministry leader and bookkeeper. 

She loved spending time with her family, quilting, cats, nature, farming and gardening, and many crafting and outdoor activities.

Robyn is survived by her husband, Jeff Andras of Brooksville, Fla.; her daughters, Tessa (Jay) Blommel and Mindy Potter of Brooksville; step-sons, Tyler (Mahle) Andras and Tristan Andras of Brooksville; mother and step-father, Jo and Bill Bishop of Guttenberg; sisters, Roxie Weger (Dave McKee) of Olathe, Kan., and Albuquerque, N.M.; Renee (Eddie) Kilgore of Tahlequah, Okla., and Ronda (Dean) Stonerook of Merritt Island, Fla.; and her “second parents,” Roger and Mary Knehans of Strawberry Point.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
