Elmer G. Colsch, 69, of Dodgeville, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, at Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville. 

He was born May 15, 1949, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Lawrence “Jack” and Ruth (Paris) Colsch. 

He is survived by his eight children, Brenda (Eric) Palas, Manchester, Iowa, Tammy (Brad) Hill, Spring Green, Kristina Colsch, Farmersburg, Iowa, Stanley (Carrie) Colsch, Garnavillo, Iowa, Jennie Colsch, Portage, Kryssi (Bryan) Streicher, Monona, Iowa, Nicholas Colsch, Portage, and Ami Colsch, Portage; 16 grandchildren: Madeline, Ben, Maurice, Marcus, Jackson, Ronald, Tyson, Kenneth, Kaelyn, Kelsey, Alexis, Izayah, Carter, Avah, Bentley and BreeAnnah; four siblings, Jacqueline Scott of Muscoda, Jerry Colsch, Nashville, Tenn., Barb Knight, Sextonville, and Darrell (Pat) Colsch, Ferryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson Dominick; and a brother, Larry Colsch.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 3, from noon until 2 p.m., where there will be a time of sharing memories at 2 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com.
