Jerrine Ann Lovett (Kliefoth), 86, of Henderson, Nev., passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 5, at Pacifica Senior Living Center in Henderson.

She was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Monona, to Clarence and  Edna Kliefoth and grew up in Clayton County. She later moved to Arizona, where she graduated from Yuma Union High School in 1948.

She married Oliver J. Lovett in 1950, and took up residence in Tempe, Ariz., where she raised her family of three. Attending night school at Arizona State University resulted in her obtaining an Elementary Teaching degree, and this ultimately resulted in the Lovett family moving to Ketchikan, Alaska, in 1966, where she taught math at Houghtaling Elementary School for about 15 years. After leaving teaching she owned and operated several businesses in Ketchikan, most notably the Pizza Mill, a local institution.

She left Alaska in 1990, moving with her daughter, Tonya, to Gig Harbor, Wash., Evergreen, Colo., then Conifer, Colo., before relocating to Henderson in 2016. While in Evergreen she owned and operated a local bakery in nearby Morrison, and also enjoyed work in the casino industry in Blackhawk.

She spent time traveling the west in the little RV she purchased, and was able to make several more ambitious overseas trips as well, including Hong Kong and the Netherlands. Other hobbies and interests included a lifelong interest in baseball, church activities, playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles and following politics and the stock market.

Her life will be celebrated going forward by her surviving children, Tonya Ciarochi, of Henderson, Nev., Terry Lovett (Jan), of Sitka, Alaska, and Tracy Lovett (Debbie Moore), of Lakewood, Colo.; along with five grandchildren David Ciarochi, Bryan Lovett, Alyson Lovett, Frankie Jess Lovett and JeriJo Lovett.

Cards of remembrance or condolences for the family can be sent to Terry Lovett at 1113 Furuhelm St., Sitka, AK, 99835.
