Michelle P. “Mick” Munz-Little, 56, of Prairie du Chien, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse.

 

She was born Aug. 27, 1961, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Francis and Colleen (Douglas) Munz. She was baptized at St. Gabriel’s Church in Prairie du Chien. Michelle was a graduate of West Grant High School. She married Holly Little on Jan. 27, 1980, at St. Mary’s Church in Bloomington. She worked in maintenance for Wauzeka Public Schools and later at the Barnyard 9 golf course.  

 

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Holly, of Prairie du Chien; her mother Colleen Munz, of Prairie du Chien; her brother Dennis (partner Kevin Larson) Munz, of Prairie du Chien; step daughters, Cheryl Branham, Crystal (Junior) Ingersoll and Cecile Kramer; 12 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; aunts; uncles; Sally Laidig and Jerry (Kathy) Fennel.  

 

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Linda Munz-Kline.

 

A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m., at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien with Rev. Paul Peters officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of services. A private family inurnment will be later.
