Two baggies of meth found in Gays Mills woman’s bra
A 28-year-old Gays Mills woman has been charged in Crawford County Circuit Court with one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sarah Olson faces up to $11,500 in fines and four years and one month in prison if convicted of all counts.
According to the criminal complaint, on Aug. 24, while Prairie du Chien police officers were attending to an unrelated traffic stop, Olson came up and began speaking with officers.
A strong odor of marijuana was coming from Olson’s vehicle, the complaint said. A search was conducted of the vehicle and a marijuana smoking device with residue was found, along with a clear plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana.
The officers were then called away from the scene in order to attempt to apprehend a man in a different investigation.
The man in the other investigation was arrested. Olson later called the Crawford County Law Enforcement Center to request to pick up a wallet from the man who had been arrested. A police officer told Olson to come to the Police Department. When she did, she was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia based on the search of her vehicle earlier that evening.
While Olson was being booked, two clear plastic baggies of meth were located in Olson’s bra, according to the complaint.
