Man accused of intent to deliver meth
A 27-year-old Lone Rock man has been charged in Crawford County Circuit Court with one count of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
Brandon Bird-Duell faces up to a $25,000 fine and 12.5 years in prison if convicted.
According to the criminal complaint, on Aug. 24, a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy pulled into the Mobil Station in the village of Ferryville.
The deputy noted a man standing next to his motorcycle. The man (Bird-Duell) eventually admitted to the deputy that he did not have a valid motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license, nor did he have proper registration for the motorcycle.
Bird-Duell then consented to a search, the complaint said. A small, clear, plastic baggie containing meth was found.
Bird-Duell admitted that he was at the Mobil Station to meet a woman and sell the meth to her. Bird-Duell said there was approximately 1.8 grams of meth that he was going to sell for $155. Bird-Duell said he bought the meth from another individual for approximately $130 an hour earlier, the complaint said.
