Sandra K. Bunts, 76, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Saturday, June 10, at the Crossing Rivers Health Care.  

 

She was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Galena, Ill., the daughter of Richard and Alma Bender.  She married William Bunts on May 31, 1957, in Elkader, Iowa.  Sandra worked at the Hi Way Grill in Prairie du Chien for many years. 

 

She is survived by her children, Robin (Lyle) Wall, of Eastman, Patricia (Rollie Legler) Nading, of Bagley, Dennis (Linda), of Woodman, Kevin (Patty) and Kenny both of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kerry (Joan), of Prairie du Chien; her brother Royce Luckey, of Lancaster; a half brother Bruce, of Madison; her dear friend Judy Remaly, of Prairie du Chien; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Linda and Sidney; along with a grandson Dennis.

 

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
