Harold Leroy Miles, Jr., 50, of Lindale, Ga., passed away Tuesday, May 23.

 

He was born in Boscobel, on April 6, 1967, son of the former Mary Steines and the late Ben Redington. He, with his wife, co-owned and operated Miles Fabrication, Inc. in Cedartown, Ga. He was of the Christian faith.

 

Survivors include his wife, the former Michelle “Shelly” Boom, to whom he was married on Sept. 12, 1998; six daughters, April Miles, Marshall, Minn., Kristeen Miles, Catty Miles, Allie Miles, Emily Miles and Olivia Miles, all of Lindale; five sons, Casey Miles, Prairie du Chien, Kody Miles, Kyle Miles, Camron Miles and Max Miles, all of Lindale; his mother, Mary Redington, Eastman; four brothers, Rory Miles, Prairie du Chien, Richard Miles, Eastman, Danny Miles, Muscoda, and Benji Redington, Cumming, Ga.; along with nieces and nephews.

 

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 1, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Pastor Kendall Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. At other times, they may be contacted at their respective homes.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Suite 280, Kennesaw, Ga 30144. Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.
