On April 20, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call from a Julia Lloyd, 33, Stoddard. Lloyd reported that her passenger, Rashidat Momoh, 26, Little Canada, Minn., was having a seizure in her vehicle. Lloyd stated she had pulled into the parking lot at the Pronto Gas Station in De Soto. The De Soto First Responders, Tri-State Ambulance, and Vernon and Crawford County deputies responded to the scene.

Information obtained during an interview with Lloyd led deputies to request the Crawford County K-9 unit. Once on scene, K-9 Breck conducted an open free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substance within the vehicle.

A probable cause search of the vehicle was implemented due to the K-9 alert and deputies located multiple containers which contained a crystal-like substance, which later tested positive for methamphetamine. Also found during the search of the vehicle were several glass methamphetamine paraphernalia devices, several hypodermic needles containing a liquid suspected to be methamphetamine, marijuana and THC wax.

Lloyd was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail. Potential charges include possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of THC wax.

Momoh was treated for the seizures and released on scene.
