BoxLogix excited about new location and brisk business

Anyone traveling on Cliffwood Drive north of Prairie du Chien is sure to have noticed a nice, new, rustic looking building near Dyesport.

The building is the new home of BoxLogix Automation, 1940 Vena Court, in the North Gateway Business Park. BoxLogix was founded in 2010 by Corey Anderson and Cory Raisbeck, and was formerly housed in The White House in Prairie du Chien.

Anderson and Raisbeck said construction at the new location began in November of 2016 and is now nearly completed. The move was necessary in order to accommodate the continuing growth of the business, which currently employs 12.

“We needed more space,” said Anderson. “We’ve been expanding very quickly.”

In fact, the new office building and a storage shed, which should be complete by the end of May, sit on approximately seven acres which would allow for future expansion.

“We’re planning for continued growth,” said Anderson. “The city of Prairie du Chien was very helpful in our move to this location.”

After gaining experience working for Cabela’s for many years, Anderson and Raisbeck decided to start their own business. BoxLogix is an engineering and project management firm which supplies material handling systems to their customers in a variety of ways.

“We are like a general contractor,” said Raisbeck. “We sit down with the customer and see what they want and find what best fits their needs, what the best solution is in their market.”

“Every project is different and every solution is customized for each client,” said Anderson, who noted that BoxLogix works in the areas of e-commerce, direct to the consumer, retail, manufacturing, food and beverage and third party logistics.

“We find the most efficient manner to ship packages for our customers,” said Raisbeck.

“We engineer systems for all types of customers,” said Anderson. “We retrofit old ones and design brand new facilities.”

BoxLogix conducts business nationwide. Raisbeck said BoxLogix has completed work for clients in 36 states. The market is strong and business has been brisk. BoxLogix currently has one project in Texas, two in Ohio, one in New Jersey, and one in Wisconsin.

“We’re excited and things are certainly headed in the right direction,” said Anderson, who noted that the construction at their new location has gone exceptionally well. “Todd Kielley, the owner of our general contractor River Ridge Builders of Glen Haven, and all of the other contractors who helped out, have done a great job. It’s an absolutely gorgeous building. It’s really nice.”
