Rosemary Streeter

Rosemary Streeter, 88, of Prairie du Chien, died Tuesday, March 28, at Gunderson Health Systems in La Crosse.

Rosemary Crawford was born on March 28, 1929 to Albert and Mary (Valley) Crawford. She graduated from Prairie du Chien High School in 1946. Rosemary was united in marriage with William Streeter in 1946. To this union two children were born. Rosemary enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and sewing. She also collected bells and loved playing bingo with her bingo friends.

Rosemary is survived by her son, Earl Streeter, of Spring Green; three grandchildren, Robin (Nate Lucas) Stoney, of Ferryville, Casey (Tish) Prine, of Middleton, and Levi Prine, of Prairie du Chien; four great-grandchildren, Kylee, Alex, Sasha and Ryan; four sisters Dorothy Degenhart, of Prairie du Chien, Norma (Craig) Anderson, of Rosholt, Patricia Bunts, of Prairie du Chien, and Virginia Crawford.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, William Streeter; her parents, Albert and Mary Crawford; and her daughter, Sherry Prine.

Funeral Service were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien, with Rev. Barb Cook as the officiant. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Prairie du Chien. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien, is helping the family with arrangements.
