Ronald LeRoy Feldman
Ronald LeRoy Feldman, 81, of McGregor, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, Wis.
Ronald was born March 9, 1935. He graduated from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles, Calif. In high school, Ron participated in Platform diving and speed skating.
Ron worked for the Flying Tigers Airlines in his younger years. He then began his career with Parker Gaming for many years. He moved to the area to work with the Riverboat from the Tama/Toledo area. He was a Slot Manager for the gaming industry and helped remodel casinos, working with the riverboat for many years. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed racing in the Baha 1000 and flat track racing and living to tell about it. He also liked coin collecting, metal detecting in the desert, watching NASCAR and drag races and reading Cycle World Magazine.
Ron is survived by his two daughters, Lori Grindell and Cindy Feldman and several friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Feldman.
There was a private family burial at Moody Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life at Josie’s River Queen in McGregor, on Saturday, April 1, at 6 p.m. Condolences may be left at www.graufuneralhomes.com.
