The Hawkettes are, row 1: Katie Licht, Paige Severson, Katie Zahara, Mariah Slaght and Bree Holler. Row 2: Kara Katzung, Kina Myers, Morgan Kiesau, Caitlin Nolan, Lauren Kennedy and Archi Patel. The team is coached by Kelli Saxe.

 

Regional champ 

Hawkettes headed to state

The Prairie du Chien Hawkettes competed at the 2017 WACPC Southern Dance Regional Competition on Saturday, Jan. 28.  

The team earned second place in Division 2 Kick. The team also earned first place in Division 4 Pom, making them the Southern Regional champions. The girls are advancing to state next weekend in both divisions.

The WACPC State Dance Competition will be held at the La Crosse Center next Saturday, Feb. 4. The team will perform their pom routine at 4:22 p.m. and their kick routine at 8:38 p.m. 

The girls would love some fan support in the stands during their special day.
