Guttenberg Chamber plans annual membership meeting

The Guttenberg Chamber of Commerce will hold its membership banquet and annual meeting on Monday, Jan. 9, at PromiseLand Winery on the Great River Road south of Guttenberg.

The social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The program and meeting will begin at 7:15 p.m.

The dinner will be catered by Clayton Ridge Farm, and tickets can be purchased in advance at the Welcome Center. Reservations are due by Jan. 4 by calling the Welcome Center at 563-252-2323 or emailing guttenberg@alpinecom.net.

The program will include the introduction of board members, discussion of the budget, summary of activities during the past year and a look at plans for the coming year.

Two members will be elected to the Chamber board to fill positions currently held by Molly Moser and Tom Augustyn, who are stepping down from the board.

Guest speaker will be Todd Coleman, assistant vice-president for admissions at Wartburg College, who will speak on "managing millennials."

Current members have received renewal forms and can return them by mail or at the banquet.
