Julie K. Bruegmann, age 52, of Wauzeka, passed away suddenly on Monday, Sept. 26, at Gundersen-Boscobel area Hospital.

Julie was born on Aug. 4, 1964, at Blue Island, Ill. to Dale and Gayle (Kay) Bruegmann. She was a graduate of Wauzeka High School. She attended UW-La Crosse, Southwest Tech, and Madison Vocational School.

Julie is survived by her parents, Dale and Gayle Bruegmann, of Steuben; a sister, Kristin (Jeffrey) Tracey, of Lodi; a brother, Scott (Tricia) Bruegmann, of Steuben and several nieces nephews; also special friends, Alan and Cindy Downs, of Madison, and Cheryl Lippit, of Wauzeka. She was preceded in death by a sister, Debra; her grandparents; a nephew, Tyler Tracey; and a great nephew, Breven Cooley.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boscobel with Pastor Charles Koester officiating.
