Kenneth Meloy Radloff left us on August 31, 2016 with his wife and family by his side in Alexandria, Minnesota. Ken and wife, Donna moved to Arabella Manor in Alexandria to be closer to family in May of 2015, from Donna, Texas.

Kenneth was born on June 24, 1922, in Farmersburg, Iowa, one of four children to George and Laura (Reinke) Radloff. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran church in Farmersburg. After graduating from high school, Kenneth continued to farm with his family until retiring in 1981.

Kenneth married Donna (Oelke) Courtney, a grade school classmate, February 2, 1979. Kenneth was a multifaceted self-taught man, able to fix or create anything, including: pencil drawings, clocks and playing musical instruments. He loved restoring Model A and Model T cars and entering them in parades. Kenneth was a 68-year member of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Iowa, Brotherly Love Lodge 204. He sang in the church choir in Farmersburg. During the thirty-two years that they wintered in Wesleco, TX, Kenneth and Donna made long lasting friendships and enjoyed volunteering at the Knaap Hospital twice a week for over15 years.

Kenny died at the age of ninety-four at their home at Arabella Manor. He is survived by his wife, Donna; step-children, Kathrine (James) Granland, Mary Anderson and David (Diana) Moritz Sr; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his step-son, Paul Moritz; sister, Juneaver McNichols and brothers, Donald and Virgil Radloff.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
