River Ridge swept visiting Black Hawk in a twinbill in high school baseball action Friday afternoon.
The Timberwolves took game one 14-4 in six innings.
River Ridge scored a run in the bottom of the first to take a 1-0 lead.
Black Hawk scored twice in the top of the second, but River Ridge answered with 1 in the bottom half to tie the game at 2-2.
River Ridge scored a run in the third and 5 in the fourth to go ahead 8-2.
Black Hawk scored 2 runs in the fifth, but River Ridge scored 3 in the bottom half to gain an 11-4 advantage.
River Ridge scored 3 more runs in the sixth to take the win.
River Ridge pounded out 16 hits and committed 2 errors. Black Hawk had 6 hits and committed 3 errors.
Dylan Hazen fanned 11 and walked 4 to earn the victory.
Ben Ertz was 4x5 with a pair of doubles, a home run and 5 RBIs. Hazen was 3x5 with an RBI.
River Ridge won game two 9-5.
