Tickets are now on sale for the Rock and Roll on the River Show to be held Saturday, April 9, at Lakeside Ballroom in Guttenberg. The evening will feature music from the golden era of rock and roll.

This year's featured entertainment will include local favorites Backwater. The band is known for its high-energy, danceable music featuring hits from the 1950s through the 1980s.

The evening will also spotlight the Midwest Rock N Soul Revue  featuring a soul performance by Maurice Walker-Jules and an Elvis tribute by Eddie Simpson. Special guest Carl Thompson will also put in an appearance.

A costume and dance contest will  also highlight the program.

The event is coordinated by the Mid-America Music Association, Lakeside Ballroom, River Park Cruisers and Guttenberg Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. They can be purchased in advance at the Guttenberg Welcome Center, from any River Park Cruiser member,  at AutoTek or at The Guttenberg Press.
