Hugh R. Daniels, III, (Danny), 73, of Nashville,Tenn., formerly of Eastman passed away Feb. 7,

He was the beloved husband of Cindy (Olson), formerly of Seneca. He was Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and retired from McGraw Hill Publishing. He was the dear father to Heidi Daniels, Joy Burcham, Erin Stamolis and Patrick Mackey, and grandfather to Houston, Griffin, and Camryn Burcham, Ella and Tess Stamolis, Emmalyn Mackey, and honorary grandchildren, Lainie and Brilie Esser.

Danny was a devout Catholic and volunteer for missions and hospitals. He would go out of his way to drop a buck in any cup or hat. Danny had a life long love affair with the Cleveland Browns, Camel No Filters, Budweiser, hamburgers and Spanish Peanuts. He was proud of being Irish, having a passport, and that his ‘99 Mercury was still running. He enjoyed playing and watching golf, and considered driving a golf cart “communing with nature.” He “never met a stranger,” his life was enriched by all the friends he collected during his time on this earth. He will live in our hearts forever.

A Mass will be offered in his name on March 19, at 4 p.m., at St. Wenceslaus, in Eastman. Followed by a celebration of life at Main Street Bar & Grill (formerly Captain's) in Eastman, where there is still a bar stool that fits him just right.
