Dale C. Duha, 83, of Eastman passed away on Feb. 13, at the Prairie Maison nursing home. 

He was born on May 2, 1932 the son of Edward and Helen (Zlabek) Duha in Seneca. He graduated from Seneca High School in 1950. Dale served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan following WWII. He was proud of his conversion to Catholicism while in Japan. He farmed his entire life near Eastman in Seneca Township. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Council of the Knights of Columbus and his favorite Saint was St. Francis of Assisi.

He is survived by his brothers, Earl Duha of Eastman, Laverne Duha of Ouray, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lester and Irvin; sisters, Dorothy and Gladys Duha; and a sister-in-law Virginia Duha.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman, with Monsignor Roger Sheckel and Reverend Victor Feltes concelebrating. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery in Eastman. Friends may call at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 4:30 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of departure for the church.
