The Prairie du Chien Fire Department was called to 329 S. Wacouta Ave. in Prairie du Chien shortly after 10 a.m. Monday morning for a fire that had begun to smolder again following a previous fire at the residence Sunday night. Firefighters had responded to the scene Sunday at approximately 9 p.m. South Beaumont Road and other locations were blocked off to traffic Monday morning but a vehicle got through, ran over a hose and put a hole in it.
