Scotty Joe Lessard, 51, of Prairie du Chien, died Monday, Nov. 16, at Crossing Rivers Health, Prairie du Chien. 

Scott Joe was born on June 17, 1964 to Ronnie and Carol (Heins) Lessard in McGregor, Iowa. He graduated from Prairie High School. Scotty was united in marriage with Kathleen A. Keene on Nov. 15, 1997 at Faith Evangelical Church in Prairie du Chien. Scotty enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Scotty is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lessard of Prairie du Chien; son, Tony Pohl of Milwaukee; one grandson; his father and step-mother, Ronnie and Patricia Lessard of Prairie du Chien; siblings, Tina (Mark) Fox of Prairie du Chien, Tim (Shirley) Lessard of Dubuque, Iowa and Jessica (Michael) Wescott of Dubuque, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Carol King and his grandparents.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin is helping the family with arrangements.
