June M. Lee, 95, of Platteville, died on Friday, Nov. 13, at Gray’s Nursing Home, Platteville. 

June was born on May 24, 1920, the daughter of Roy and Louella (Bausman) McLimans. She met her future husband, Delbert F. Lee, at the roller rink in Platteville. They were united in marriage on Dec. 30, 1939. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1973. June worked at the Platteville Hospital as a house-keeper for 20 years. June was an avid bowler; she was inducted into the first class of the Platteville Bowling Association Hall of Fame. 

She is survived by her two children, Sandy (Gary) Baker of Platteville; Ted (Nadine “Dee”) Lee of Prairie du Chien; grandchildren, Corrie (DJ Johnson) Baker; Jobie (Ryan) Hauber; Billie Jo (Sean Barber) Baker; Beau (Heather) Baker; Joylin (Ray) Buchanan; Brandon (Amy Hemmer) Lee; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Shyrle Sedgewick, of Platteville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and five sisters.

Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Rev. Elizabeth Whitford officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the June M. Lee Memorial Fund. Online condolences may be made at www.melby
