Kent Stark, of K Starky Enterprises, dba Stark Engineering, in Prairie du Chien, recently graduated from the Wick Buildings Builder Orientation School, and has joined over 130 builders in the Midwest who proudly represent Wick Buildings. Stark completed a session Oct. 13-15 at the Wick Buildings headquarters in Mazomanie to learn about high quality post-frame engineering and construction techniques, as well as building systems for the professional builder.

“Our builders are learning the best practices in pre-engineered post-frame construction and customer service to ensure that buyers are getting the maximum value for every dollar they spend,” said Jeff Farquhar, president and general manager of Wick Buildings.

“While many businesses, particularly those in post-frame construction, are reacting to the economic environment by reducing the quality of materials and offering sales incentives. Wick Buildings is investing in training and using data to ensure post-frame building are built to stand the test of time,” Farquhar added.

The Wick Buildings method of constructing key portions of a building in an indoor facility maximizes the quality and efficiency of the building process, and adds significant value to the long-term performance of the building.

In continuous operations since 1954 and with more than 72,000 buildings completed, Wick Buildings provides post-frame structures for agricultural, dairy, equine, residential storage, municipal, commercial and light industrial markets. Wick Buildings are sold by independent builders and they are built by those same independent builders as well as Wick crews, who live and work in their own communities.
