Patricia Ann “Pat” McGinley (nee Lechnir), on April 14, at the young age of 73, was the most beautiful angel to storm the gates of heaven.

Patricia, the gorgeous daughter of Thomas Raymond “Ray” and Jean Lechnir (nee Hahn), married Paul McGinley in May of 1963 and left her childhood home of Prairie du Chien, for a new life in Milwaukee. While in Milwaukee Pat’s main job was raising her six amazing children, Erin, Kathleen, Michael, Maureen, Patrick (Vicki) and Eileen (fiancé Mike Klein) McGinley. God blessed Pat with the smartest, cutest, and most talented grandchildren in the world, Michael and Kelly Putnam, Samantha (Nick) Rogala, Savannah and Shane Danowski, Roan and Isabel McGinley and Michael D. Klein. God knew this lady had a passion for babies and dazzled her with a great grandson, Liam Rogala. Pat loved her brother Tom (Nyleen) Lechnir, and sisters Nancy (the late Jeff) Heberlein, Jane (the late Michael) O'Brien, Connie (Herb) Thompson and Janet (Tim) Giese. She was the life of every party. Pat is also survived by her sweetheart, John See of Marshfield, and her nieces, nephews, and other friends.

Pat spent many years flipping burgers and chasing robbers out of George Webb’s (Lincoln/Howell) location, and was the owner of Pat’s Bay Beauty Salon in Bay View. Most of her retirement was spent at Wilson Park Senior Center where she enjoyed quilting and card making. Pat never passed a rummage sale without stomping on the brakes.

We are eternally grateful to God for gifting us with the most beautiful mother in the world, Patricia Ann McGinley.

Visitation will be at the Funeral Home Sunday, April 19, from 12 to 4 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 4 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Pat’s home town of Prairie du Chien.
